ITEM AUTHOR CERTIFICATION
E-learning program to certify interested professionals in writing high-quality
multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based on SCFHS standards.
THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES TWO PHASES
PHASE I
Theory training that covers the below topics:
1- Principles of Assessment
2- Item Writing
3- Post Exam Psychometric Analysis

PHASE II
Practice training, in this phase the participant must write and submit five well-written items based on what was learned in Phase I. These items will be reviewed by Certified Reviewers.

CERTIFICATION CRITERIA
- More than 4 items comply with SCFHS standards; the participant becomes a Certified Item Author.
- More than 2 items do not abide by SCFHS standards; feedback will be provided, and the participant is requested to resubmit new items.

CASE DESIGNER CERTIFICATION
E-learning program to certify interested professionals in designing high-quality
SOE & OSCE Cases based on SCFHS standards.
THE WORKSHOP INCLUDESTWO PHASES
PHASE I
Theory training that covers the below topics:
1- Principles of Clinical Assessment
2- Structed Oral Examination
3- Objective Structured Clinical Examinations
4- Quality in Assessment

Practice training, in this phase the participant must write and submit a well-written SOE & OSCE Cases based on what was learned in Phase I. These cases will be reviewed by Certified Reviewers.

CERTIFICATION CRITERIA
- After reviewing cases submitted:
If both cases comply with SCFHS standards, the participant becomes a Certified Case Designer.

EXAMINER CERTIFICATION
E-learning program to certify interested professionals in evaluating candidates during clinical examinations based on SCFHS standards.
THE WORKSHOP CONSISTS OF ONE PHASE
Theory training that covers the below topics:
1- Setting Up Clinical Examinations
2- Assessing Clinical Competence
3- Examiner Behavior

CERTIFICATION CRITERIA
- To become a Certified Examiner, the participant must achieve (80%) or above at the end of course evaluation.
