The assessment exams aim to evaluate the level of trainees and ensure that they have the knowledge and skills required to obtain the residency and fellowship certificates issued by the National Institute for Health Specialties. The trainees are expected to pass all theoretical, practical and clinical evaluation exams during the training period to obtain the specialized certificates.
NIHS offers three types of specialized exams:
