NIHS Accreditation Surveyors Team

Accreditation Surveyors: Team of specialists formed by the Institute for accrediting specialized training centers and programs.

Implement the accreditation site visits to the medical training centers.
Conduct the required interviews to obtain the accreditation.
Audit the files and documents submitted by the training centers.
Ensure all documents meet the NIHS conditions, standards and requirements.
Inspect the training centre's facilities, equipment used for the training programs.
Ensure the availability of significant academic and administrative staff to run the training programs
Prepare a comprehensive detailed report on the outcomes of the site visit.
Provide all information to Central Accreditation Committee.

Selection Criteria for Accreditation Surveyors Team:

Board certified in one of the health specialties or have equivalent qualifications.
Having at least 3 years of experience post qualification
Professional Experience in Medical Education preferably at postgraduate level
Implement NIHS Accreditation Policies, Systems and Procedures.
Securing not less than 5 days yearly to conduct site visits.
Sign Conflict of Interest Declaration form and protect confidentiality of data and documents.
Provide Reference/Recommendation letters from DIOs Or Training Manager.
Provide evidence for prior professional development or training workshops on assessment if applicable
Commit to attend any required NIHS training for surveyors
