NIHS Clinical Examiners

The Clinical exam is an integral part of Emirati Board certification and helps to ensure that trainees meet the highest standards of patient care. Being an examiner offers physicians the opportunity to develop their skills as an assessor, and share best practice with other physicians from around the country. Before you begin filling your Application

Gather the required information so that you can complete this application without interruption
Have a copy of your CV ready in PDF (.pdf) format to upload in step (i). Maximum file size 1000kb
Have a current photo ready in gif or jpg format (.gif, .jpg) to upload in step (I). Your photo size should be approximately (200 pixels x 300 pixels). Maximum file size 500kb.

Once appointed, examiners must satisfactorily complete examiner training before they will be permitted to examine. Once trained, examiners are invited to examine at venues organized by NIHS for the comprehensive Clinical Examination (CCE).
In order to retain examiner status, examiners will be required to abide by the NIHS Clinical Examiner code of conduct, and maintain adherence to the criteria, and will be asked to confirm this on an annual basis.
